Ramadan is an islamic religious event which takes place during the ninth month of the islamic calendar (lunar calendar).

During this period, the adults must fast from dawn to night and everybody must behave particularly well : charity, generosity, niceness, no greed, no theft, no anger, no gossip, no coarse words...

When the night falls, fast is broken with family and friends around festive meals.

Eid ul-Fitr, the festival of breaking the fast, marks the end of the ramadan, That day, a big and joyful celebration takes place.
